Local, National, Global CPD Programme

Local, National, Global is a new CPD programme from Devon Development Education for Learning Communities or whole school staff to develop global learning and build community cohesion. Our aim is to inspire teachers and teaching assistants to help prepare young people for the global challenges of the 21st Century and to build community cohesion – local, national and global.

 The programme is run in two parts. Part one is a one-day workshop for up to 30 staff from Early Years to KS5 to establish the foundations – looking at diversity, celebrating multi-cultural Britain and challenging assumptions and stereotypes. Part two allows a choice of four workshops, each teacher attending two, from a wide range of curriculum areas organised to suit you.
