An exciting and sucessful 2012 in store!

An exciting New Year is in prospect at the Global Centre! We have an array of activities in the coming months. See the Global Centre Community events page for regular and special events coming up.

The Global Centre is still based at Dix's Field but hopes to return to Exeter Community Centre in St David's in May. Look out for further information and our Grand Opening event in due course!

This term features Fairtrade Fortnight which has become a particular highlight of the year at the Global Centre. This year Devon will host two guests from Northern Pakistan, producers of Fairtrade nuts and sun-dried fruit.

In 2011, we celebrated 10 years of the Food for Thought School linking programme with Uganda. At the final event, in the rain in Uganda, the Ugandan Minister of Agriculture praised the programme. Recognition indeed!

A reminder that the Global Centre is available as a space for meetings and other events. We regularly hire the space to groups such as Exeter-Ethiopia link and Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
