Celebrating 30 years of the Fairtrade mark in 2024

The Fairtrade Mark was launched in 1994 with three certified products

  • Green & Black’s Maya Gold Chocolate, with cocoa from Belize
  • Cafedirect coffee
  • Clipper tea

Now over 6,000 Fairtrade products are on sale in UK. More than 1.9 million farmers and workers are involved in Fairtrade worldwide with 17% farmers and 41% workers women. 71 countries have Fairtrade co-operatives
