Fairtrade Fortnight 2023

For Fairtrade Fortnight 2023 Fairtrade Devon will be welcoming two visitors Madam Therese Nyirangwabije and Mr Vincent Nsengiyumva

For Fairtrade Fortnight 2023 Fairtrade Devon we welcomed two visitors Madam Thereoperative in Gakenke, North-west Rwanda. They have made a short video about their Co-operative.

The resources as used in the Fairtrade Fortnight Primary Schools’ Workshops are available to download.

There is a  programme of Community Events at which you will be able to meet our visitors, hear about growing and roasting coffee and sample Rwandan coffee

Afternoon Cream Tea to meet Rwandan Coffee Farmers – Wednesday 1st March 3pm – 4.30pm

Trowbridge Fairtrade Town Group event. Publicity event with banner displayed, film, literature, display boards, refreshments. – Friday 3rd March 10am – 1pm

Highlighting 3 “endangered products”: coffee, cocoa and bananas. Displays by two local schools and Fairtrade refreshments – Saturday 4th March 10am – 12pm
